Product Description
ResveraCel combines nicotinamide riboside with resveratrol and cofactors to support healthy aging. Provides support for metabolic syndrome and increase cellular energy production.
ResveraCel supports healthy aging in several ways with these ingredients:
Nicotinamide riboside (NR) supports the multiple functions of cellular mitochondria, helping to regulate cellular aging and providing positive support for metabolic syndrome.
Resveratrol mimics the effect of calorie restriction by activating the sirtuin group of proteins and has shown promise in clinical studies by attenuating the effects of age-related conditions.
Quercetin phytosome also enhances sirtuin activity – research indicates that it slows the breakdown of resveratrol in the body.
Betaine provides premier support for methylation, a crucial body process that contributes to the health of the heart, blood vessels, brain, nervous system, and liver.
ResveraCel contains nicotinamide riboside – the most efficient direct precursor to nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+). The mitochondria cannot perform their crucial cellular function without a sufficient supply of NAD+. NR offers fundamental support for mitochondrial biogenesis, as well as multiple other mitochondrial activities – from energy production to the regulation of metabolism and cellular aging.
The resveratrol in ReservaCel is trans-resveratrol – not a diluted plant extract found in many resveratrol products on the market. It increases activity of the sirtuins – SIRT1 and SIRT3, in particular. In one study, resveratrol was shown to be the most potent natural activator of the sirtuin proteins.
The quercetin in Thorne’s quercetin phytosome is bound to sunflower-sourced phospholipids for enhanced absorption. Research shows that in addition to slowing resveratrol breakdown, quercetin phytosome acts as a potent antioxidant.
Betaine, an important methyl donor, provides nutrient support for the condition known as fatty liver, and it also promotes the metabolism of homocysteine. In addition to providing significant methylation support because it donates three methyl groups, betaine provides positive support for other metabolic functions associated with metabolic syndrome.
Nicotinamide Riboside → NAD+
NAD+ is a catalyst that:
- Increases the body’s ability to produce energy in the mitochondria and to make more mitochondria
- Supports cognitive function and provides neuroprotection
- Supports healthy metabolic function, including insulin sensitivity and support for fatty liver
- Promotes healthy aging by activating the sirtuin enzyme
{SIRT1 and SIRT3 play key roles in healthy aging, fat metabolism, weight management, insulin resistance, nerve function, lipid metabolism in the liver.} - Supports weight management by promoting thermogenesis
- Supports endurance athletes and fatigued individuals by increasing mitochondrial activity in the muscles, particularly cardiac muscle.

Quercetin, Resveratrol and Viruses
Quercetin has been shown to have antiviral effects against RNA (influenza and coronavirus) and DNA viruses (herpes virus). Quercetin inhibits viral replication (promotes viral eradication or inactivation), modulates pro-inflammatory cytokines, and has healing anti-fibrotic properties through modulating mast cell stabilization.
Resveratrol has been shown to be effective in modulating the innate immune response. Some viruses like coronavirus, trigger the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines; this can lead to a cytokine storm and serious damage to the epithelium of airways.
ResveraCel is manufactured by Thorne Research.
ResveraCel contains ChromaDex Inc.’s proprietary Nicotinamide Riboside.
