How does Saffron Mood Support work?
Saffron EP15
In clinical research, Saffron EP15 showed dramatic support for mental well-being, with double the improvement in mood over 56 days, as measured using a standardized rating scale.
Saffron helps balance brain chemicals and acts similarly to selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).
Saffron also lowers cortisol, modulates HPA axis, helps preserve GABA, modulates serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine and reduces neuroinflammation
BCM-95 Curcumin
Clinically studied BCM-95 is standardized for a full spectrum of curcuminoids and is combined with turmeric essential oil for enhanced absorption and blood retention. It is well-known for its ability to enhance mental well-being and mood.
Health benefits include supporting healthy serotonin, cortisol and GABA levels. These things support a positive state of mind, healthy stress response and restful sleep.
Combining the Benefits of Saffron and Curcumin in One Product
Each capsule contains 215 mg of curcuminoids and 15 mg of Saffron (Crocus sativus) Stigma Extract (EP15)
How Soon Will the Benefits be noticed?
Each individual will experience different timelines for benefits, because these botanicals work with your body to support a healthy emotional response and positive state of mind. However, clincal research with saffron and curcumin, both as individual ingredients and as a combination, found that people noted results in a range of four to twelve weeks.
What is the difference between turmeric and clinically studied BCM-95 curcumin in this formula?
Turmeric is the plant that provides curcumin. A typical turmeric rhizome contains about 2-5% curcumin, so taking an unstandardized, powdered turmeric product means that very large amounts would be required to get even a small amount of curcumin.
Additionally, standard curcumin extracts are poorly absorbed in the GI tract. That’s why the clinically studied BM-95 curcumin in this formula is blended with turmeric essential oil to significantly enhance absorption. Plus the turmeric oil yields beneficial turmerones not found in other curcumin products. Turmerones yield benefits similar to curcumin and have been increasingly studied for a variety of health benefits.
